505 Research is a one-person consulting practice operated by Marco Tripalo. This policy explains what personal information is collected, why, and what you can do about it.

What is collected

Three things, and nothing else:

• Contact form submissions. Your name, email address, company name and whatever you write in the message field. Submitted only when you choose to send the form.
• Booking details. If you book a call, your name, email address and anything you add to the booking form, handled by the scheduling service and placed on the calendar.
• Business contact details used for outreach. Name, job title, company, and business email address, gathered from public professional sources such as company websites, professional networks, industry directories and trade associations.

This site sets no cookies and builds no profile of you. Traffic is measured with Plausible, a privacy-focused service that counts pages viewed, referral source, browser type, and approximate country. It uses no cookies and cannot identify who you are. There are no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers of any kind.

Why it is collected

To respond to inquiries, and to make direct business-to-business contact about consulting services. Nothing here is used for automated decision-making or profiling.

What happens to it

Your information is never sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with third parties except the service providers needed to operate the practice, which currently means email hosting, website hosting, appointment scheduling, and traffic measurement. Those providers process the data on instruction and for no independent purpose.

How long it is kept

Inquiries are kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Outreach contact records are deleted on request, and unsubscribe records are kept indefinitely for the specific purpose of making sure you are not contacted again.

Your choices

• Stop receiving email. Use the unsubscribe link in any message, or the unsubscribe page. Requests are honored promptly and always within ten business days.
• See what is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Ask, and it will be done.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no absolute guarantee is offered.

Geographic scope

505 Research is based in the United States and directs its outreach to businesses in the United States. Commercial email is sent in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act.

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new date at the top.
