01Reach Buyers Before They Are Ready

Advertising is most effective on buyers who have not yet purchased. At any given time, the majority of buyers in a category are not actively shopping, and when they eventually are, they contact the names already familiar to them.

Visibility established now fills the pipeline later, and the effect continues well after any individual campaign has ended. Familiarity built in one quarter tends to appear as easier sales for several years.

02Every Dollar Can Be Measured

Paid acquisition is the most controllable channel available to a business. Budgets can be adjusted within a day, campaigns can be tested against one another, and each dollar can be traced from click to customer. When the account is monitored correctly, its performance improves month over month.

What performs receives more budget. What does not is discontinued.

That discipline is the substance of the work, and it is a process any business can establish. Once it is operating, growth becomes a budgeting decision: additional pipeline next quarter is a line item in the current one.

03Establish the Governing Figures

None of this requires new software. It requires structured testing and a clear figure for what a customer is worth, so that the maximum allowable cost of a lead is known before spending begins. The research supporting this page is on the research page.

With those figures in place, paid acquisition ceases to be speculative and becomes an adjustable input: traffic when the business requires it, growth that can be planned, and a pipeline that no longer depends on referrals.

Done properly, paid acquisition becomes one of the most dependable sources of growth a business has. Most of the buyers in any market are not yet looking, most competitors advertise only to the few who are, and the businesses that reach buyers early grow measurably faster year after year.

Very few firms run their accounts this way, which leaves the advantage open to those that do.

An overview of how engagements are structured and priced is on the engagements page. The first step is a conversation, which can be arranged through the contact page.
