How an Engagement
Works
505 Research builds and runs the marketing a sponsor uses to reach accredited investors and book them onto calls with its team. Each engagement is scoped to your needs and agreed in writing before work begins.

What 505 Research Does
505 Research works with sponsors and firms across the investments and financial services industry.
The work covers 3 areas. An engagement can include one of them or all of them, depending on what you need.
Paid acquisition
Ads on Google, Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube, along with the landing pages, tracking and measurement behind them.
Content
Offering pages and websites, pitch decks and investor presentations, one-pagers, email sequences and newsletters, organic search, and the other material investors read before they commit.
Sales and forecasting
Qualifying forms, booking, CRM setup and management, follow-up, and the reporting that shows what each channel produces.
Every engagement draws on published research and on data from professional research tools. More of that research is on the research page.
505 Research handles the work from start to finish. Your team can be as involved as it would like, and most of its involvement can be kept to updates and approvals. Calls with investors stay with your team.
Pricing
Most engagements fall between $5,000 and $20,000. The final quote depends on the scope and is set after a first call.
Larger scopes and ongoing monthly work are quoted separately.

Confidentiality
505 Research treats every client relationship as confidential. It does not disclose the identity of its clients, the nature of their engagements or any client information without the client’s prior written consent.
This follows the confidentiality conventions observed by consulting, accounting and capital markets firms. For the same reason, 505 Research does not provide client references or case studies that identify a client, and it does not solicit testimonials from its clients or use a client’s name, work or results to promote itself. Relevant experience can be discussed in detail on a call without identifying any client. The methods, reasoning, strategy and sources behind every recommendation are covered in detail with the client, and each can be verified independently. This provides a prospective client with a sound basis for its decision.
Before an engagement begins, any potential conflict of interest with an existing client is identified and raised with you.
Regulatory Status
505 Research is a marketing firm. It is not a broker-dealer, a placement agent or an investment adviser. It does not speak with investors on your behalf or handle subscriptions. Anything an investor will see is approved by you and your counsel first.
Questions about compliance, confidentiality and timing are answered on the questions page.
