The revenue
blueprint
The twelve parts of a marketing and sales system for a long, considered sale, in the order they go together. One part is open below, in full. The other eleven are named, and their tests are withheld.
Each part carries a one-line test for whether it exists in your company yet. Every claim is tied to a named study, and the full source list prints in the document.
Ads are part twelve
Every guide to growing a company starts in the same place, which is spending money on ads, and it starts there because that is the part somebody else can sell you. The blueprint runs the other way. It starts with a number only you can produce, and it ends with the spending.
The order exists because each part feeds the ones after it. A ceiling on lead cost cannot exist before customer worth does. A follow-up rule cannot be audited without one home for records. An ad account cannot be judged without a measurement rule that predates it. Skip ahead and every later part stands on a guess, which is how a company ends up paying to be found by people who already had its number.
The first-hour owner
A named person who owns the stretch between a form fill and a conversation.
When a buyer raises a hand, a clock starts, and the race is shorter than almost anyone plays it. Reach them inside the first hour and you are about seven times as likely to have the qualifying conversation as the firm that waits one hour more, and about sixty times as likely as the one that waits a day.
Nobody plans a two-day delay. It happens because the stretch after the form belongs to nobody, and hours that belong to nobody go missing. The fix is a name and a window, which is why this part is the cheapest on the list.
You can name the person and the window without checking.
Eleven more parts follow, each with its own test in the document. This one is a decision, not a purchase.
Twelve parts. One open.
The next step is a conversation
That is the shape of the system. Working out which of the twelve parts your company already has, and which missing one is costing the most, is what a first conversation is for, and it starts from the contact page.
